Users and organizations are encouraged to apply these patches to their systems as soon as possible after appropriate testing, and to remind individuals to not click on links or attachments contained in emails from untrusted sources. Agency personnel planning on patching systems should refer to ITB_PLT 002 for clarification of the Commonwealth's Desktop and Server Software Patching Policy.

Pennsylvania's Information Security Architecture program was one of only 11 state information technology initiatives awarded for outstanding achievement in information technology by the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO). Pennsylvania was recognized for improving information security and privacy in state government.
